Education for All Ages
Minnehaha offers thoughtful and engaging classes for all ages Sunday mornings at 10:15 a.m., September through May. Adult studies are also offered during the week.
Sunday Mornings
Child Care for Preschoolers is available from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. for preschoolers whose parents are attending worship or classes. Preschool child care is available throughout the year.

Three and Four Year Olds meet on the second floor of the Educational wing with caring, dedicated adults. Our goal is to have the little ones experience “church” as a safe place where they can learn about God’s love in a loving environment. (Cherub Choir practice follows at 11:00 a.m.)
Five Year Olds meet on the second floor also. Their teachers, caring and energetic, share God’s love through short lessons, crafts, and song. (Cherub Choir practice follows at 11:00 a.m.)
Grades One through Five meet briefly on second floor to discover which exciting learning center their age group will enjoy on that Sunday morning. Our Rotation Sunday School (based on the learning theories of Multiple Intelligences by Howard Gardner and Thomas Armstrong) provides access to learning through:
- Puppetry
- Computer lab
- Drama and movement
- Arts and crafts
- Food in the church kitchen
Middle School Kids meet in a large group on the third floor for lessons and activities which engage both mind and body. Dedicated, skilled and accepting leaders work with these sixth, seventh and eighth graders. (Attendance is one of the requirements for Confirmation.)
High School Students meet on third floor in a more laid-back style as befits their advanced age and sophistication! They enjoy engaging in discussions with peers and adult leaders about the ways to fully live their faith and the difficulties confronting them in life.
Adult Faith Forums are held in the Wesley Room on the lower level. The topic and presenters of the Forums vary from week to week, but are always subjects of interest. Feel free to come every Sunday, once a month, or whenever the mood strikes you. Click on our “news” page for current topics and dates.
