Youth Ministries

We seek to provide people with opportunities to know God; to experience God's abounding love, and with Christ as our guide, to fellowship with others as we seek, serve, and celebrate. Through our programs, people will explore what it means to be a child of God, and how we might live in such a way that others will come to know Christ.

Youth Activities in July

Wednesday Afternoons in the Kitchen (see photo above)
On Wednesday afternoons at 4:30 p.m., Minnehaha youth guide other youth through recipes like banana bread. They can then share the results with their families that evening. Or eat it all themselves, of course.

Summer Faith Forum for Youth & Adults
On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m., youth and adults are zooming on key topics like combating racism.

Friday is Youth Movie Night
On Friday evenings at 7:00 p.m. our youth are remotely watching movies like "Star Wars: A New Hope" and sharing the experience from a distance.

Sunday Activity at 4:00 p.m.
So far they’ve done rock painting and built bird houses. And in July they’re collectively working on their own version of "Star Wars: A New Hope" on zoom.

Monday Eco-Crafts at 2:00 p.m.
Our youth are doing eco-friendly crafts on zoom like making old T-shirts into rugs.
