Minnehaha UMC Youth Fall Schedule
May 8th - Youth Night (Grades 6th-12th): Scary Movie Night: Bring your favorite scary movie to the Church at 6:30 and we will vote for our favorite to watch. We will have popcorn, ice cream, and other treats and watch the movies through the projector on the gym wall. Because Bigger is always better when it comes to scary movies. No cost.
May 15th - Confirmation Night: (Grades 6th-8th)(9th grade welcome but not required): Last evening of Confirmation for the 2012-2013 school year. Starts at 6:30 in the 3rd floor Youth Room.
May 19th - Last Day of Sunday School Celebration & Special Ministry Celebration!
May 22nd - Special 9th Grade Confirmation Night: (9th grade only) Very Important Night! Starts at 5:30pm and Dinner will be provided. Please bring a laptop or Smart phone if you have one, we will be doing a special project with them. (If you don't have one let me know and we can provide one for you.) We will also be walking through this years fall Confirmation plans and dates. Please let me know if you cannot make it.
May 25th - Minneharvest: Our Minneharvest team is looking for more helpful volunteers! Truck starts unloading at 7:00am and there is lots of ways you can help. Just show up and ask!
June 2nd - Graduation Sunday: We are hoping to have ALL 2013 High School graduates participating in service. I will be contacting them individually to see how they would like to help: Greeters, Ushers, Readers, Communion servers, etc. We will have a special recognition and gift for them in service, and a cake reception afterwards.
**Parents of Graduates** Please send me 5-6 photos you would like shared of your graduate. These can be sent to me through my email or in a envelope and I will get them back to you ASAP** Thank you!
June 10th-14th - Music and Drama Camp (For Youth that have completed 3rd-8th grade): We are also looking for Youth in 9th-12th grade that would be interested in helping as Camp Counselors. Lots of fun and looks great on Job and College Applications!
June 11th-13th - New Vacation Bible School (For kids preschool - 3rd grade): We are looking for Youth in 6th-8th grade that would be interested in helping as Junior Camp Counselors. Very lite duties and responsibilities, but all the fun of a Camp Counselor.
June 12th - Youth Night: (Grades 6th-12th) Sky Zone Trampoline Park: Back by popular demand - Youth are going to Sky Zone trampoline park! The cost is $10.00 per youth. Have Youth to the Church by 5:30 pm, and please RSVP to me so I have proper transportation. We are expected back to Minnehaha around 8:30pm.
Sky Zone has a special waiver that must be filled out for everyone. I can email a copy to you upon request, or you can fill one out on Wednesday night when you arrive at MUMC.
June 21st - Youth Babysitting Night / Lock-in: (Grades 6th-9th): Youth will be running a Night of Babysitting for the children, while Parents enjoy a evening out. We will be watching the little ones at the Church from 4:00-8:00pm. Afterwards the Youth will stick around for a Lock-in just for them.

July 10th-13th - Camp Minnehaha: Adventure Camp for kids that completed 3rd-5th Grade.
Aug. 2nd-8th - Confirmation Camp at Ko Wa Kan: for youth that completed 5th-8th Grade.
Aug. 2nd-8th - High School BWCA trip for youth that completed 9th-12th Grade.
